Starlight Concert - Katie and Friends
On Thursday, 24 July, the area of Phaneromeni, in the heart of Old Nicosia, will be flooded with the sound of music. Mezzo Katie Economidou and friends, Zara Barkhoudarian piano and young MariosPavlou violin, will be performing a repertoire of English and Greek songs specially put together for the Rotary Club of Nicosia-Aspelia. There will also be guest appearances by Gore Melian (song) and Chrissie Sea (piano). Over a glass of wine and cool refreshments, provided by Makkas Winery and Lanitis Bros, the audience will be invited to shed the stresses and strains of everyday activity, relax, and enjoy the famous Nicosia evening breeze, and even possibly, sing along with the performers.
This special musical event, being organized by the Rotary Club of Nicosia-Aspelia, will take place at the open air theatre of the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation in Phaneromeni. The entrance ticket will be €12.00 and all net proceeds will go towards the Club’s Scholarship Fund, which is a registered charity (Registration Charity No:13.36.002.04). Starting time 20.00.
