Stories about immortality and freedom by Nikos Gatsos

Zaatar Food & Arts stage hall hosts another musical performance with the beloved Elena Hadjiafxendi (performance arrangement, performance and voice) and Andreas Papapetrou (musical adaptation, piano and accordion), which explores the notions of freedom and immortality as they appear in the poetry of Nikos Gatsos and incorporated in the musical and song compositions of Manos Hadjidakis and Giorgos Hadzinasios. Two different albums will be covered: "Athanasia" by Manos Hadjidakis and "11th command" by Giorgos Hadzinasios. The songs will travel the audience, raise questions and emotions through the personal stories of the poet, revealing universal human values. (Costume Design: Miranda Theodoridou)
