A few words about the magazine
Straw Dogs magazine is an art magazine located and published in Cyprus every three months. Its very first issue has been released in September 2012 and it mainly deals with young local emerging and upcoming artists, by giving them step to present themselves and their own work as well as to talk about what they face in the art area. At the same time, Straw Dogs magazine hosts in its pages presentations and works of well known Cypriot and foreign artists. The 1st issue deals with poetry, narrative story, photography, painting, graphic design, dedications, music and Cyprus Archive while Straw Dogs magazine’s editors, hope to foster an artistic culture in the island of Cyprus. Moreover, Straw Dogs magazine’s aim is not to exist as an ephemeral magazine but as a magazine that anyone could refer at any time and would have it in its library. Straw Dogs magazine’s 2nd issue, has been published at the end of January, while its 3rd one which is getting ready, it’s going to be released at the end of May.
