Tamara's Jewellery Exhibition
The spectacular collection of Tamara’s hand-made jewelry shows a surprising variety of forms and colours. The stunning choice shows both amazing elegance and impressive lightness. It is stylish, modern, romantic, young, cheeky, chick and fresh. Tamara’s jewelry is hand made as one-of-a-kind designs. These creations enhance both day and eveningwear.
Tamara’s designing skills and her technical knowledge can be seen in the details of her collection. Each piece of her jewelry indicates sophistication, functionality and complexity of design. It is also full of emotion and expression.
Combining stainless steel nuts with ceramic and beads, semi-precious stones, metal ornaments, glass and acryl amongst other materials, Tamara has created an enticing collection of necklaces, bracelets, earrings and key holders.
About Tamara:
Tamara is a self–taught jewelry maker, who started several decades ago, as a student of Archaeology and History in Jerusalem. She financed her studies with jewelry making which she used to sell the campus. She continued her studies in Anthropology and Folklore in Germany, acquired her Ph.D. and worked for many years with her husband Tibor, a director and cinematographer, producing and writing dozens of documentary films. After retiring, they moved to Cyprus and she restarted her jewelry making, adding new techniques and new ideas to her creations.
Opening of the exhibition with a reception and presentation of the artist by Ms Tatjana Politaki Hillyar (ISTIO Jewellery Gallery) on Friday 10. December at 19.00.
