Taste the World - concert for Saxophone & Marimba
Commandaria Orchestra & Friends concert series, in collaboration with 'cyndeo', will host next Thursday, July 28th 2016, at the premises of The Cyprus Wine Museum the performance of Kyriacos Shionis (Saxophone) & Maria Kramvi (Marimba).
This recital brings together an unusual combination of instruments rarely seen in contemporary performances - saxophone and marimba. The project combines classical music with folk-traditional elements and gestures from around the globe with repertoire inspired by the origins of each composer's home country with a twist.
