2nd TEDxNicosia invites you to Re-Think, Re-Generate, Re-Act.

Following the resounding success of the inaugural event in Nov 2011, TEDxNicosia is back! This time inviting some of the most fascinating thinkers and doers at Pallas Theater Nicosia on Saturday, March 9, 2013. The venue is made possible with the gracious sponsorship of H.E. The Mayor of Nicosia and the Municipality of Nicosia.

Inviting people to Re-Think, Re-Generate and Re-Act, TEDxNicosia promises an unforgettable day, featuring an inspiring, dynamic agenda, where one should simply expect to be inspired! Participants are invited to apply on-line on www.tedxnicosia.com between February 15 to March 4. Registration will be made on a first-come first-served basis.

TEDxNicosia Founder and Curator, Marina Theodotou disclosed that this year’s 12 inspirational speakers, hail from a variety of disciplines ranging from academia and arts to gastronomy and geomatics.

“Along with the TEDx organizing team, our goal is to once again find our voices in the community during TEDxNicosia 2013 through Re-Thinking, Re-Generating and Re-Acting,” said Theodotou, adding that “TEDxNicosia would not be possible without its four prime pillars- the team, the speakers, the sponsors and the audience.

From a global perspective, this event aspires to be a window of Cyprus to the TEDx world, and vice versa. On a more local, even individual level and given the dire financial crisis currently hitting Cyprus, TEDxNicosia is a platform to Re-Think, certain things that we take for granted, or our plans for the present and the future; to Re-Generate our own personal energy, regnerate ideas and even hope.; and to Re-Act to external and even internal stimuli to chart a new course. We feel that Re-Think. Re-Generate Re-Act will resonate no matter what latitude and longitude one is on and we hope our audience will too.
