The goal is to promote the culture of Kalavasos and the coexistence of people, as well as to form the ideal conditions for the flourishing of cultural festivals with the collaboration of the communities.
The title of the festival is inspired by the name of the Neolithic settlement of Tenta, which is located just outside the village of Kalavasos. According to local tradition the name goes back to 327 A.D. when St. Helen, mother of Constantine the Great stayed in a tent in this location during her visit to the island.
