The Thalassa Mediterranean Food Festival

The Thalassa Mediterranean Food Festival offers a day of gastronomic inspiration and taste experiences featuring some of the island’s finest local produce. Guests will have the opportunity to sample a range of food and wines, pick up recipe tips and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch of Mediterranean specialities, pasta and seafood cooked using new-press local olive oil.

The program includes a Cyprus Olive Oil Seminar and professional tasting session, wine tasting, organic Halloumi-making and seafood cookery demonstrations, buffet lunch and traditional music performed by guitarist and singer Michalis Mozoras.

Featured local products, including wine and olive oil, will be available to buy and take home on the day. Guests will also have the chance to enter a free prize draw to win a luxurious one night stay and breakfast at the picturesque Thalassa Hotel & Conference Centre at Governors Beach.
