The Second Stage of the Skala Theater presents “The American”, a modern work that will be performed for the first time in Greek, written by the famous contemporary Russian playwright Nikolai Kolyada and directed by the German director Michael Leinert.
"The American" is a gripping monodrama and a touching story about a wasted life. For more than 15 years the Russian Elena Andreevna lives a simple life in an apartment in Manhattan. Searching for a better life she is willing to go beyond the limits of morality. A woman who tries to survive in a world which for her seems cold and weird.
