The Relieved One
Marieta, in the aftermath of her recent dismissal from a glamorous magazine in retrospect she inevitably thinks how badly life has treated her. She realizes, that her devotion to the glittering, but lots of times materialist and fake world of fashion, for so many years, made her go traverse a non-wrinkled, meaningless, and sinless life. The downfall lasted for many years of habit, but it took her only one moment to realize it.
The self-sarcasm of a woman who is ready to play all for nothing, a few seconds before her life, itself, dismisses her, she brings to the lips of the spectators a bittersweet smile, at the time when they form in their mind the tragic query: “How much time, out of our life, must we waste in order to realize that what could lead us towards happiness is our smile and our own people?”
