Theatre and Music against Homophobia
Rooftop Theatre and The Jazz Futures jazz band join ACCEPT – LGBT Cyprus in their events against Homophobia. The event is sponsored by the US Embassy's Bicommunal Support Program in Cyprus.
Mark the day: Thursday, May 17th, 2012 at 19:30 at the Irini Hall, end of Ledras pedestrian street in Nicosia. The event will include dramatized reading of poems, prose, drama and testimonies from authors, known and unknown, in relation to homophobia. The texts have been taken from books, plays and blogs, and will be read by Rooftop members and friends. The music of The Jazz Futures will intervene, to give a jazz tone to the event.
Will be followed by reception.
