Book Launch: Three dots
Melani Publishers and the Soloneion Book Centre invite you to the Christos A. Michael’s (Michalaros) latest book launch entitled ‘Three dots’, which will take place on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 19.00 at the medieval ‘Kasteliotissa’ hall in Nicosia’s old town.
There will be three speakers, who will comment on the book and the poet/writer including, Kostas Gouliamos (Dean of the European University Cyprus), Sophia Iordanidou (Adjunct Professor for Journalism and Communications at Open University Cyprus), and Giorgos Kolokasides (lawyer).
At the book launch, there will also be a musical performance by George Kalogirou.
A few words about the book:
Written in 64 rhythmic and rhyming verses, which are passionate and deeply existential, the book speaks directly to the poet’s generation, and the older generation, through a head-on fringe narrative.
A few words about the author:
Christos A. Michail (literary pseudonym of Christos Michalaros) works as a journalist on Radio Proto, SIGMA TV, and the DIAS Media Group. He was born on the Greek island of Salamina and he finished his schooling in Limassol, Cyprus. He studied Financial and Bank Management at the University of Peiraias in Greece and Media & Journalism at Newcastle University in the United Kingdom. In the past, he worked as music journalist for Greek magazines and webpages, as well as, a political communications specialist. He has written lyrics for songs. This is his third book.
