“Together Separate: Contesting Space” is an artistic showcase, part of the Build Peace Conference 2015 (www.howtobuildpeace.org), of individual and collective works that engage with the global issue of contested boundaries, borders, and spaces — a theme directly reflected in the conference’s host city. Asking “What does it mean to create, claim, hold, and/or use a space?” Build Peace responds with specially sourced and curated works that address human experiences of shared and contested space.
