The Trackers (Cultural Society Anagnosis)

The Cultural Society Anagnosis will present The Trackers, directed by Demos Avdeliodis, a performance which already has inspired critics into writing enthusiastic praises. “Avdeliodis follows the technique he loves, namely popular theater and has produces a delightful performance, full of rhythm, instincts, gentleness, music and metaphysical comfort”. In this play the trackers are the chorus of satyrs, who are looking for the cattle; they are amusingly dumbfounded at the sound of the new instrument Hermes has invented. Enough of the play survives to give an impression of its style; it is a genial, uncomplicated travesty of the tragic manner.
