TransISTor
The TransISTor workshop, with high quality professionals in the field of stereoscopy and filmmaking, will be taking place from the 4th until 7th of July 2011 at the ARTos Foundation. Participants will be given the opportunity to meet with the professionals and discuss scenarios, storyboards as well as future perspectives for storytelling with the use of stereoscopy.
Previous knowledge on 3D stereoscopy is not necessary. Through your participation you will discover how the greatest movies were made and why simply putting two cameras next to each other can never produce a good stereoscopic 3D movie. The program covers various topics, from the many ways in which to achieve low and high budget stereoscopic projects, benefits and limitations, how to set up the full pipeline, storyboards and scripts for stereoscopy 3D, theory for shooting (alignment, convergence, depth, etc) and location scouting, S-3D equipment (stereoscopic rig, beam splitter).
