Turkey - Cyprus, 1923 - 1960
Presentation of the book of Charalambos Kafkarides "Turkey-Cyprus, 1923 - 1960: The Turkish policy on Cyprus from Ataturk to Menderes".
According to the author, the key question that this book attempts to answer is "why the Turkish policy in Cyprus began with almost complete indifference during the governance of Ataturk but was converted into an aggressive one with the Menderes government ... It also attempts to give a objective presentation of events away from national "myths" and always based on the scientific truth."
