Twice a Stranger
The film unfolds the story through rare archival footage, interviews with historians and compelling oral testimony of refugees from Greece and Turkey. It's a film about people who were uprooted from their homes, their common experience for the lost homeland: the story of being "Twice stranger."
A feature documentary, a documentary series and a cross-media platform about the most significant forced population exchanges in the 20th century and how they affected, and continue to mark, the lives of millions of people.
Directors: Andreas Apostolides and Yuri Averof
The screening is part of the 7th Ethnic Festival
