The selection was made possible thanks to the support of Embassies and Cultural Institutions in Cyprus. The representatives of the selecting Embassies and/or Cultural Institutions will briefly introduce all films.
All movies will be screened in their original language with English subtitles.
In addition to the films, two open discussions are also being organised respectively by UNFICYP "Women Leading Change" (Tuesday 10 March, 7:00 p.m.) and the Embassy of Finland and Estonia in Cyprus "Women Trafficking: the invisible problem" (Wednesday 11 March, 8:30 p.m.). More information on the open discussion will be provided soon.
Entrance to all film nights and panel discussion is free!
The United Nations family in Cyprus, including the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP), the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is pleased to support this week-long initiative as part of collective efforts to foster discussion about the importance of increasing women’s participation and promoting women’s voices.
