United Colours of Lefkosia

and looking for groups of people to walk around old Nicosia, answer some questions and win big prizes!!

In other words,
We proudly present our brand new project in cooperation with the G/C and T/C Teachers’ Platform “United Cyprus” and the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research (AHDR):

“United Colours of Lefkosia”

What for?
The project «United Colours of Lefkosia» is a peace and reconciliation event that aims to bring together Greek Cypriots, Turkish Cypriots and people from other communities of the island to explore and discover the old City of Nicosia.

How?
Participants, who will be allocated into groups and will be competing against time to complete several tasks and challenges. The groups will be solving the riddles that will guide them into discovering the whole old city of Nicosia and collecting all the rainbow colours from 7 different stations. The winners will be the ones who collect all seven colours of the rainbow and form the United Colours of Lefkosia, a city strongly characterized by its unique diversity!

When?
The event will begin at 14:30-15:00 with registrations, while the actual city challenge will take place between 15:00 – 19:00, it will end with the announcement of the winners during an award ceremony at 19:00 which will then be followed with a concert in front of the home at 19:30.

Prizes?
The winning group will enjoy the first prize of 400 euro, and the second and third group will each receive 200 and 100 euro respectively.
