A United Cyprus is Feasible
With the Cyprus talks at a crucial phase, EU House will be hosting two important public discussions with the participation of Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot political leaders.
The two events, held under the common title "A United Cyprus is Feasible", are organised by the Representation of the European Commission in Cyprus and OPEK, the Association for Social Reform.
On Tuesday 15 December 2015, at 18.30, the main speakers will be:
Αβέρωφ Νεοφύτου - Averof Neofytou, President of the Democratic Rally (DISY)
Mehmet Ali Talat, President of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP)
On Thursday 14 January 2016, at 18.30, the main speakers will be:
Andros Kyprianou, Secretary General of AKEL
Cemal Özyiğit, President of the Social Democratic Party (TDP)
The discussion will be in three languages (Greek, Turkish and English) with simultaneous interpretation. The main speakers will make their opening statements and then there will be questions from the audience. Questions can also be submitted via Twitter using the hashtag #UnifyingCY
Because the number of seats in the audience is limited, anyone interested in attending should register at:
