Visitors to their own homeland
Photographic exhibition by Anikitos Hatzicharalampous entitled “Visitors to their own homeland” at the exhibition hall of the Municipality of Nicosia at Ledras Street from December 29 to January 4.
The photographs that will be exhibited show what evolved at the Ledra Pallas roadblock after the lifting of the ban of transition to the occupied area of Cyprus in April 2003.
Anikitos Hatzicharalampous later began to record the destruction of our cultural heritage in the occupied area while at the same time photographed the faces and feelings of the Greek Cypriots who visited, as guests, their own homes.
