Vocal Portraits & Instrumental Lyrics
The classical pianist Tatiana Stupak returns to the Technopolis 20 Cultural Centre in Paphos on Friday 14th October, at 8pm, to perform works by Chopin and Tchaikovsky. She will also accompany the brilliant soprano Tatiana Kokareva, who will sing works by Bellini, Bizet, Gershwin, Handel, Rachmaninov, Rimsky-Korsakov, Tchaikovsky, Verdi and Vivaldi.

A few words about the artists
Tatiana Stupak (piano): she started learning the piano at age 5, and later studied at the Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory in St. Petersburg, initially with Professor Leonid Sintsev, a student of S. I. Savshinskiy. She won a Bach international competition and an organ international competition in Russia. She has performed in Russia, Austria and Germany and recently in Cyprus, where she is now based.
Tatiana Kokoreva (soprano): Tatiana graduated from the conducting and vocal faculty of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. She is a soloist with the choir of the Moscow Conservatory, the Moscow Synodal Choir, the Boris Pevzner Ensemble, the State Academic Chamber Orchestra of Russia under Alexei Utkin, the Moscow Chamber Orchestra "Musica viva" under Alexander Rudin and others. Tatiana participates in projects of vocal ensembles Questa Musica (conductor Philippe Chizhevsky), Intrada (conductor Ekaterina Antonenko), Eidos (conductor Andrew Kaplanov) and others. She has performed in the Grand Hall of the Conservatory, at the Bolshoi Theatre, the "Novaya Opera" theatre, the Moscow Philharmonic and the Moscow International House of Music, as well as at the Philharmonic of Muslim Magomayev in Baku, the hall of the Opera Garnier in Monte Carlo, and the Schlosskapelle in Dresden. Additionally, she has participated in various international festivals and charity concerts in France, China, Germany and Cyprus. She took part in a series of concerts with the ensemble La Poem Harmonique (France) under the direction of Vincent Dyumestra in 2015. Tatiana’s repertoire includes classical opera arias, romances by Russian and foreign composers in Russia and Europe, and she also specialises in the performance of contemporary vocal music. She has taken part in master classes with Julia Lezhneva and Deborah York. Tatiana lives and works in Moscow.
