When children visit an exhibition!
With the beginning of the Νew Υear we present our new educational programme entitled When children visit an exhibition! Applicable to every temporary exhibition that takes place at Zampelas Art Museum, children will have the chance to meet Cypriot and International artists through the work exhibited. Diverse styles and techniques will be given special attention, as children accompanied by the Museum Educator will have the opportunity to create colours from scratch and observe artistic tools to better understand the step-by-step creative process. With a fun worksheet, children start from the basics such as the identification of the details indicated on the label of the painting –artist’s name, year of creation, art medium– to cultivating criticism as to the content and the artistic outcome in each artist’s work.
The aim of the workshop is to enhance the local culture through the interaction with Museums’ future visitors as well as to give the importance to temporary exhibitions which each individually share an adventure with us.
Find the dates below for the first temporary exhibition of 2017, First Generation of Cypriot Artists from the Surikov Academy of Fine Arts in Moscow, which is a collective presentation of well-established Cypriot painters.
