Women of the Year 2009
The magazine Madame Figaro organizes the awards “Women of the Year 2009”, to honor the women who stood out for their contribution to the society of Cyprus during 2009.
Awards will be given to women from 11 categories: singer, actor, author, fashion designer, media person, athlete, scientist / academic, professional / executive, entrepreneur, social contribution and politician.
Presenters for the evening will be Zeta Makripoulia and George Kapoutzidis. The singers Elena Paparizou and Ivi Adamou will sing during the event while present will also be other celebrities such as Matilda Maggira and Yiannis Kotsiras.
All the net proceeds from the tickets of the event will be donated to the institution which will be choosen by the woman who will win the award for the category “Social Contribution”
The event will be shown live from Sigma TV on Tuesday 13th of April at 21:15.
