Yannis Koutras - From Magnus Eroticus to the Southern Cross
A musical journey from Manos Hadjidakis to Thanos Mikroutsikos with intermediary “stops” at all major composers who defined Greek contemporary music.
The concert is presented by Yannis Koutras, the performer of the landmark album “The Southern Cross” who has cooperated on major projects with prominent Greek composers such as Thanos Mikroutsikos, Stamatis Spanoudakis, Yorgos Chatzinasiou and Mimis Plessas, to name just a few, and the up-and-coming composer Christos Kolovos who recently released his second album entitled “Dream above the City” and featuring Thanos Mikroutsikos, Yannis Koutras and Kostas Thomaidis.
A programme that covers almost all important époques of Greek contemporary music.
