Yiannis Pelekanos
Yiannis Pelekanos presents his 34th solo exhibition at Kypriaki Gonia Gallery in Larnaca from the 28th of September until the 18th of October 2012.
Among other, the exhibition includes 25 paintings that have as a subject the Traditional Weddings of Cyprus.
Born in Assia 1937. He started painting in 1958. Yiannis Pelekanos tries to transfer us to the past. His goal is to immortalize what is gradually vanishing. Genuine colours, his instincts and the sense of movement characterized his art.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on the 28th of September at 19:30.
