Young Artists Platform - The first step
Continuing a practice which has become a tradition and an institution, the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra presents, for yet another time, not one but three young artists, thereby offering them a significant platform from which they can be heard by the broader public. And we’re not just talking about instruments which have, through the centuries, been associated with writing “serious music” until much more recently, such as percussion. And, to take yet another step further, July’s concert, the last in the “evening concerts” category of the season, features a par-excellence folk instrument, which, however, can be found lacking in nothing as regards lyricism and virtuosity compared to any symphony orchestra instrument: the bouzouki! Join us then this month as well and support our young artists in the company of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra!
