Young Soloists in Concert
As Nelson Mandela once said, “The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow”, and this is true in all sectors of life, including music. Of exceptional importance then are the programmes of the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra, which offer a platform to “the leaders of tomorrow”, as are, in the field of music at least, the three young soloists of this concert. A concert that also features symphonic works with chorus with the participation of Aris Choir of Limassol and Fortis Choir of Saint Petersburgh, and which takes us from the romanticism of von Weber to the Soviet school of Borodin, Kabalevsky and Shostakovich and to Theodorakis.
