Youth 'n' Code 2017

Since the European week of Code was on the 12th until the 22nd of October, and organizations promoted coding activities for people of all ages, backgrounds and all levels of technological fluency, we came up with the idea to organize a series of workshops on Coding.

By using open source programming software, anyone can create interactive games, simulations, videos, circuits etc. Doing so, one can cultivate problem-solving skills, always in a fun, creative and interesting way.

During the day you can try several activities:

12:30 - 13:10 Workshop 1: "Develop your Website with HTML programming"

13:20 - 14:00 Workshop 2: "Create your game with Scratch"
Instructor: Matina Marathefti
14:10 - 14:40 Workshop 3: "Make your own home alarm with Arduino"
Instructor: Antonis Hadjiantonis
14:50 - 15:30 Workshop 4: "Programming robots in Python: EdPy on MeetEdison"
Instructor: Alexandros Kofteros

During the event there will be parallel activities:
3D Printing | Lego Mindstorms EV3 | Hour of code | Retro gaming station | Engino Robotics

FREE ADMISSION

Where? Science & Space Cafe Nicosia

Workshops will be in English.
