Equally at home on both violin and viola, Zhislin enjoys an active and illustrious career as soloist and chamber musician, performing in his native Russia, as well as throughout the world. A finalist and a prize-winner at the Leeds Piano Competition and Scottish Piano Competition, Katya Apekisheva is one of Europe's foremost pianists, in demand internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, and she has been described by Gramophone Magazine as “a profoundly gifted artist” who has “already achieved artistic greatness”.
