Zoe and Thanos
"Zoe and Thanos" is a new piece by a young Dutch writer, Theo Fransz. It presents the relationship between a brother and sister, Zoe (life) and Thanos (death) who shared a tragic experience a few years before the play begins... Thanos was killed in an accident, while his sister helplessly watched. The play portrays Zoe's desperate attempts to overcome her guilt and loss in an environment where everyone thinks she has gone mad, as every night she "speaks" to her brother.
"Zoe and Thanos" attempts to confront, through humour and play, the unspeakable sense of injustice presented by an unexpected death in a family.
